Drawing exercise, from basic drawing class. (which I finally got around to taking. lol. All graphite on paper.
Assignment was your typical 2 point perspective, but I really wanted to go nuts with it, for that wow factor. So I mirrored some images and attempted to get really technical (anal) with the details. Im not sure anyone was ready for it, since it was a basic drawing class. But I got an "A" so Im happy.
Let me know your thoughts.

I love it, looks very Escher-y. 
I think the trees are a nice touch to give it a mix of organic shapes with the geometry. Did you do the warped checkerboard just by eye?
